PRIME
Visual Characteristics
• An even blend of bright-
white sapwood with subtle
grain and light to medium-
brown heartwood gives this
grade a moderate color
contrast that creates a
charming, slightly varied
floor with a natural
appearance.
• The durability of Prime
Hard Maple make it an
ideal choice for high-traffic
areas. White, red, brown,
tones match well with this
product.
• Sound knots limited by
size and quantity, slight
surface blemishes,
birdseye, light stain, and
light sticker shadow are
permitted.
• Prime grade is free of
shake and rot.

size and quantity, character
marks, minor mineral
streak, and light birdseye
are permitted.
• Clear grade is free of
shake, rot, stain, and
sticker shadow.
